The elder belongs to the genus mosco herbs greenhouse, which occurs in about 10 different species worldwide, three species grow in Central Europe.
The elder flowers grow in May, June and July, while the berries can be harvested in September and October. We make the jam from the berries of elderberry.
The elderberry juice in summer is a great thirst quencher.
