South Tyrol is a country which highly values tastes and flavours. People know how to express their good taste by choosing high-quality produce. This way of life has led to the creation of the Gourmet Festival Alto Adige which, in the time being, has become the rendezvous for gourmands: a well-deserved recognition for South Tyrol and its high-quality produce.
The fifteen Alto Adige Quality Food Products are to be found yet again in Bolzano, the province’s capital Quality Made in South Tyrol: thanks to the Alto Adige quality trademark and the products with the European designation of origin, the most mouth-watering produce in the country will be showcased between 29 and 31 May. The third edition of the event features products like the South Tyrolean Apple PGI (Protected Geographical Indication), Speck Alto Adige PGI, as well as Alto Adige Wine DOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) and other products with the Alto Adige quality trademark. During the three days of the Festival,
local cuisine is in the spotlight, showing what can be created using local, high-quality products. Many other fringe events will provide information on the produce and ensure fun and entertainment for everyone.
