The planetarium South Tyrol / Alto Adige in San Valentino in Campo is the first planetarium in South Tyrol and was opened on 20 July 2013. Together with the observatory, the Solar Observatory and the Planet offers the community Cornedo children and adults all around a cosmic experience.

The planetarium in San Valentino in Campo is independent of weather and time of day the starry sky and the movement of the stars true to life - it is a world outstanding "Cosmos Simulator". Up to 55 guests in comfortable armchairs and go like a spaceship on exciting expeditions around our Earth and distant worlds. Under an 8-meter dome screen-an unprecedented combination of high-resolution 360-degree "Full Dome 3D" picture and -Raumklang puts the passengers right into the cosmic events. A 3D full-dome-moving image projection is only found in a few planetariums around the world: with her ​​have the visitors the 3D scenes not only the right, but sit the midst of it. From Bolzano to the burner-state road (SS12) north. Depart for Cardano right direction Val d'Ega, at the roundabout towards Val d'Ega (tunnel).
